# MathLove vs Wunder

The clearest difference is rating: Wunder at 5.0 against MathLove's 4.1. Wunder also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). MathLove's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MathLove sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Wunder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wunder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MathLove has 51 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of MathLove's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wunder's.

MathLove ships an update every 3 weeks, Wunder every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
