# DG Crews vs FlightLog App

The clearest difference is monetization model: FlightLog App at free with in-app purchases against DG Crews's subscription. FlightLog App also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 43%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). DG Crews's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DG Crews sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per year and FlightLog App sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DG Crews holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlightLog App has 23 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of DG Crews's written reviews are positive against 77% of FlightLog App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DG Crews ships an update every 5 months, FlightLog App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
