# Boxer vs BIM

The clearest difference is ads: BIM at none against Boxer's shown. BIM also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Boxer's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Boxer ships an update every 3 months, BIM fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
