# Xtremboy vs Whappz

The clearest difference is rating: Whappz at 3.7 against Xtremboy's 2.5. Whappz also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Xtremboy's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 31%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Xtremboy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Whappz sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whappz holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 20 and 33 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Xtremboy's written reviews are positive against 31% of Whappz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Xtremboy ships an update every 3 months, Whappz monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
