# Weex vs Split

The clearest difference is rating: Weex at 4.9 against Split's 4.2. Weex also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (247 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weex sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Split sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weex holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weex has 247 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Weex ships an update every 3 weeks, Split every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
