# Deako vs MetaChurch

The clearest difference is rating: MetaChurch at 4.8 against Deako's 2.5. MetaChurch also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Deako's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 36 months) and ratings volume (137 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
