# Deako vs CMGT

The clearest difference is rating: Deako at 2.5 against CMGT's 1.0. Deako also leads on ratings volume (137 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). CMGT's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Deako holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Deako has 137 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Deako ships an update every 2 weeks, CMGT every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
