# SKRL vs All photo frames

SKRL and All photo frames both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 94% of SKRL's written reviews are positive against 50% of All photo frames's. SKRL also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). All photo frames's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SKRL sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and All photo frames sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

All photo frames holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SKRL has 868 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of SKRL's written reviews are positive against 50% of All photo frames's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SKRL ships an update every 4 days, All photo frames every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
