# Home + Control vs IRSAP NOW

The clearest difference is rating: IRSAP NOW at 5.0 against Home + Control's 4.3. IRSAP NOW also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Home + Control's advantage is ratings volume (140 vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IRSAP NOW holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Home + Control has 140 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Home + Control's written reviews are positive against 42% of IRSAP NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Home + Control ships an update monthly, IRSAP NOW every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
