# Legacy TriDot vs Runvas

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Legacy TriDot at 97% against Runvas's 60%. Legacy TriDot also leads on ratings volume (263 vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Runvas's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Legacy TriDot sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Runvas asks for nothing beyond the download.

Runvas holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Legacy TriDot has 263 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of Legacy TriDot's written reviews are positive against 60% of Runvas's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Legacy TriDot ships an update fortnightly, Runvas monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
