# skitto vs LMCam

The clearest difference is rating: skitto at 4.5 against LMCam's 4.0. skitto also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 2). LMCam's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

skitto holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: skitto has 5.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

skitto ships an update every 2 months, LMCam monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
