# DigiDocs vs Pattern Projects

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DigiDocs at none against Pattern Projects's 1. DigiDocs also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Pattern Projects's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pattern Projects sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DigiDocs asks for nothing beyond the download.

DigiDocs ships an update every 4 months, Pattern Projects every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
