# TipGenie vs Settld.

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TipGenie at 100% against Settld.'s 50%. TipGenie also leads on iOS requirement (8.1 vs 15.1). Settld.'s advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Settld. holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of TipGenie's written reviews are positive against 50% of Settld.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TipGenie ships an update weekly, Settld. every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
