# Countdown Widget Maker vs Event Countdown

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Countdown Widget Maker at 79% against Event Countdown's 0%. Countdown Widget Maker also leads on ratings volume (5.6K vs 108). Event Countdown's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 3 months and Event Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Event Countdown holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown Widget Maker has 5.6K ratings behind it against 108, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Countdown Widget Maker's written reviews are positive against 0% of Event Countdown's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
