# Honeywell Lock vs KeyInCode

The clearest difference is rating: KeyInCode at 3.0 against Honeywell Lock's 2.0. Honeywell Lock's advantage is review sentiment (21% vs 0%) and ratings volume (24 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KeyInCode holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Honeywell Lock has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Honeywell Lock's written reviews are positive against 0% of KeyInCode's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Honeywell Lock ships an update every 3 months, KeyInCode every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
