# LS Drone vs RC FPV

The clearest difference is rating: LS Drone at 3.5 against RC FPV's 2.4. LS Drone also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). RC FPV's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (503 vs 4). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LS Drone holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RC FPV has 503 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of LS Drone's written reviews are positive against 18% of RC FPV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LS Drone ships an update every 9 months, RC FPV every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
