# Dice X vs Nice Dice Roller 3D

The clearest difference is ads: Dice X at none against Nice Dice Roller 3D's shown. Dice X also leads on ratings volume (632 vs 133) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Nice Dice Roller 3D's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dice X sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Nice Dice Roller 3D sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Dice X's written reviews are positive against 87% of Nice Dice Roller 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dice X ships an update every 2 weeks, Nice Dice Roller 3D every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
