# WP6 vs Varpet Partner

The clearest difference is rating: Varpet Partner at 4.5 against WP6's 2.2. WP6's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 0%) and ratings volume (37 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Varpet Partner holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WP6 has 37 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of WP6's written reviews are positive against 0% of Varpet Partner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WP6 ships an update every 2 weeks, Varpet Partner fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
