# Shepper vs Scoutsss

The clearest difference is rating: Scoutsss at 2.0 against Shepper's 1.5. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scoutsss holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Shepper's written reviews are positive against 50% of Scoutsss's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shepper ships an update monthly, Scoutsss every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
