# Shepper vs Co

The clearest difference is rating: Co at 4.9 against Shepper's 1.5. Co also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 59%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly). Shepper's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Co holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Co has 82 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Shepper's written reviews are positive against 80% of Co's.

Shepper ships an update monthly, Co every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
