# xGeometry vs Volume and Geometry

The clearest difference is review sentiment: xGeometry at 64% against Volume and Geometry's 20%. xGeometry also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2). Volume and Geometry's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Volume and Geometry sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. xGeometry asks for nothing beyond the download.

Volume and Geometry holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Volume and Geometry has 178 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of xGeometry's written reviews are positive against 20% of Volume and Geometry's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

xGeometry ships an update every 2 months, Volume and Geometry every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
