# Lightning Lens vs Slowmo Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: Slowmo Pro at every 3 weeks against Lightning Lens's every 5 months. Lightning Lens's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lightning Lens sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slowmo Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lightning Lens ships an update every 5 months, Slowmo Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
