# Car Light vs XKmax

The clearest difference is review sentiment: XKmax at 100% against Car Light's 18%. XKmax also leads on rating (4.8 vs 1.8) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Car Light's advantage is ratings volume (72 vs 6) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XKmax holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.8.
