# Learn Italian beginners vs Learn Neapolitan

The clearest difference is rating: Learn Italian beginners at 4.6 against Learn Neapolitan's 4.0. Learn Italian beginners also leads on ratings volume (425 vs 2). Learn Neapolitan's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Italian beginners sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Learn Neapolitan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn Italian beginners holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Italian beginners has 425 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Learn Italian beginners's written reviews are positive against 100% of Learn Neapolitan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn Italian beginners ships an update every 2 months, Learn Neapolitan every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
