# Hologram vs Dinosaur Master!

The clearest difference is rating: Dinosaur Master! at 4.8 against Hologram's 2.0. Dinosaur Master! also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 9) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Hologram's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dinosaur Master! sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Hologram asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dinosaur Master! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dinosaur Master! has 1.6K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Hologram's written reviews are positive against 87% of Dinosaur Master!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hologram ships an update every 3 months, Dinosaur Master! every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
