# upGrad vs My Online Classes

upGrad and My Online Classes both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of My Online Classes's written reviews are positive against 49% of upGrad's. My Online Classes also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). upGrad's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (299 vs 80). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. upGrad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. My Online Classes asks for nothing beyond the download.

upGrad holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 299 and 80 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of upGrad's written reviews are positive against 85% of My Online Classes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

upGrad ships an update every 2 weeks, My Online Classes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
