# ElanConnect vs Turing Vision

The clearest difference is rating: ElanConnect at 5.0 against Turing Vision's 4.0. ElanConnect also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). Turing Vision's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (62 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ElanConnect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Turing Vision has 62 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ElanConnect ships an update every 17 months, Turing Vision every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
