# ElanConnect vs ICVIEW PRO

The clearest difference is rating: ElanConnect at 5.0 against ICVIEW PRO's 2.6. ElanConnect also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). ICVIEW PRO's advantage is update cadence (every 4 months vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (60 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ElanConnect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ICVIEW PRO has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ElanConnect ships an update every 17 months, ICVIEW PRO every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
