# PitchAware vs Rapsodo Baseball

The clearest difference is rating: PitchAware at 3.6 against Rapsodo Baseball's 2.0. PitchAware also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (27 vs 5). Rapsodo Baseball's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PitchAware sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Rapsodo Baseball asks for nothing beyond the download.

PitchAware holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PitchAware has 27 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of PitchAware's written reviews are positive against 25% of Rapsodo Baseball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PitchAware ships an update weekly, Rapsodo Baseball every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
