# DSS vs Dry Days

The clearest difference is ads: DSS at none against Dry Days's shown. DSS also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DSS ships an update fortnightly, Dry Days every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
