# Hunger Button vs Eat Drink Cheap

The clearest difference is rating: Eat Drink Cheap at 5.0 against Hunger Button's 3.8. Eat Drink Cheap also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Hunger Button's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1) and review sentiment (71% vs 60%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Eat Drink Cheap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hunger Button has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Hunger Button's written reviews are positive against 60% of Eat Drink Cheap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
