# iShia Note vs Noteful

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iShia Note at none against Noteful's 1. iShia Note also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.4). Noteful's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (24K vs 7). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noteful sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. iShia Note asks for nothing beyond the download.

Noteful holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noteful has 24K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of iShia Note's written reviews are positive against 87% of Noteful's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iShia Note ships an update every 21 months, Noteful fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
