# iShia Note vs UPDF

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iShia Note at none against UPDF's 13. iShia Note also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). UPDF's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (699 vs 7). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UPDF sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. iShia Note asks for nothing beyond the download.

UPDF holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UPDF has 699 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of iShia Note's written reviews are positive against 84% of UPDF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iShia Note ships an update every 21 months, UPDF fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
