# Watch AFL vs Baseball+

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Watch AFL at none against Baseball+'s 14. Watch AFL also leads on ratings volume (88 vs 5) and device support (4 vs 2). Baseball+'s advantage is rating (2.6 vs 2.3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Baseball+ sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Watch AFL asks for nothing beyond the download.

Baseball+ holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch AFL has 88 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 11% of Watch AFL's written reviews are positive against 7% of Baseball+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Watch AFL ships an update every 4 months, Baseball+ every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
