# SCRIBZEE® vs Handwriting Scan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Handwriting Scan at 100% against SCRIBZEE®'s 53%. Handwriting Scan also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.8) and update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). SCRIBZEE®'s advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and ratings volume (180 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SCRIBZEE® sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Handwriting Scan sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
