# Life Time Digital vs CycleBar

Life Time Digital and CycleBar both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of CycleBar's written reviews are positive against 29% of Life Time Digital's. CycleBar also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Life Time Digital's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Life Time Digital sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and CycleBar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Life Time Digital against 4.9 for CycleBar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Life Time Digital has 177K ratings behind it against 27K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 29% of Life Time Digital's written reviews are positive against 67% of CycleBar's.

Life Time Digital ships an update weekly, CycleBar every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
