# Garmin Golf vs Awesome Golf Simulator

The clearest difference is rating: Garmin Golf at 4.6 against Awesome Golf Simulator's 4.2. Garmin Golf also leads on ratings volume (7.3K vs 280). Awesome Golf Simulator's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 50%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Garmin Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Awesome Golf Simulator sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Garmin Golf holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Garmin Golf has 7.3K ratings behind it against 280, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Garmin Golf's written reviews are positive against 65% of Awesome Golf Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
