# LingoClip vs Graded Reader

The clearest difference is update cadence: LingoClip at every 5 weeks against Graded Reader's every 8 months. LingoClip also leads on ratings volume (611 vs 1). Graded Reader's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LingoClip sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Graded Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Graded Reader holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LingoClip has 611 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LingoClip ships an update every 5 weeks, Graded Reader every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
