# LingoClip vs Yabberoo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: LingoClip at 604 against Yabberoo's 2. Yabberoo's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LingoClip sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Yabberoo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yabberoo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LingoClip has 604 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LingoClip ships an update every 5 weeks, Yabberoo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
