# Friendly’s Restaurant vs 99 Restaurants The clearest difference is update cadence: Friendly’s Restaurant at every 2 weeks against 99 Restaurants's every 4 months. Friendly’s Restaurant also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). 99 Restaurants's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them. Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay. Friendly’s Restaurant holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Friendly’s Restaurant has 4.4K ratings behind it against 449, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Friendly’s Restaurant's written reviews are positive against 35% of 99 Restaurants's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about. Friendly’s Restaurant ships an update every 2 weeks, 99 Restaurants every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026. ## The numbers | Metric | Friendly’s Restaurant | 99 Restaurants | | --- | --- | --- | | Price | Free | Free | | Rating | **[4.5 (4.4K ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/friendlys-restaurant/id1192807794/reviews)** | [4.3 (449 ratings)](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/99-restaurants/id1438474687/reviews) | | Number of ratings | **4.4K** | 449 | | Positive reviews | 27.7% of reviews | **35.3% of reviews** | | In-app purchases | No | No | | Ads | Yes | Yes | | Update frequency | **Every 2 weeks** | Every 4 months | | Monetization | **Ad-supported** | Free with in-app purchases | | Size | 59 MB | 125 MB | | Requires iOS | 16.0 | **13.0** | | Devices | iPhone, iPad | **iPhone, iPad, iPod** | | Age rating | 4+ | 4+ | | Developer | [Lunchbox Technologies Inc.](https://appshunter.io/developer/1493226184) | [99 Boston, Inc](https://appshunter.io/developer/1438474686) | ## What reviewers say ### Friendly’s Restaurant [App page](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/friendlys-restaurant/id1192807794) Easily order your favorite ice cream, burgers, and family meals from the restaurant.
