# Mental Math Games & Practice vs CBAT

The clearest difference is update cadence: CBAT at every 2 days against Mental Math Games & Practice's monthly. CBAT also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Mental Math Games & Practice's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 3) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mental Math Games & Practice sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and CBAT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CBAT holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mental Math Games & Practice has 1.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Mental Math Games & Practice's written reviews are positive against 87% of CBAT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mental Math Games & Practice ships an update monthly, CBAT every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
