# mimoLive Remote vs OBS Blade

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: mimoLive Remote at none against OBS Blade's 7. mimoLive Remote also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). OBS Blade's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 39 months) and ratings volume (75 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OBS Blade sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. mimoLive Remote asks for nothing beyond the download.

OBS Blade holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OBS Blade has 75 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

mimoLive Remote ships an update every 39 months, OBS Blade every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
