# PC Express vs Calgary Co

The clearest difference is ads: Calgary Co at none against PC Express's shown. Calgary Co also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). PC Express's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Calgary Co holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PC Express has 1.7K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PC Express ships an update every 2 weeks, Calgary Co every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
