# Lecture Pro vs Voice Recorder

The clearest difference is rating: Voice Recorder at 4.6 against Lecture Pro's 3.5. Voice Recorder also leads on review sentiment (46% vs 20%) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 13). Lecture Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lecture Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Voice Recorder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Voice Recorder holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Recorder has 1.4K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Lecture Pro's written reviews are positive against 46% of Voice Recorder's.
