# Lecture Pro vs Flownote

The clearest difference is rating: Flownote at 4.8 against Lecture Pro's 3.5. Flownote also leads on review sentiment (48% vs 20%) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 13). Lecture Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lecture Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flownote sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flownote holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flownote has 2.5K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Lecture Pro's written reviews are positive against 48% of Flownote's.
