# Anemoia vs Met Opera

Anemoia and Met Opera both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of Anemoia's written reviews are positive against 57% of Met Opera's. Anemoia also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Met Opera's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 210) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Met Opera holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Met Opera has 4.1K ratings behind it against 210, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Anemoia's written reviews are positive against 57% of Met Opera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Anemoia ships an update every 5 weeks, Met Opera fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
