# STEPHY vs Lotis Mode

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lotis Mode at every 2 months against STEPHY's every 7 months. STEPHY's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

STEPHY ships an update every 7 months, Lotis Mode every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
