# Kartoon Channel! vs Burst+

The clearest difference is ads: Kartoon Channel! at none against Burst+'s shown. Kartoon Channel! also leads on ratings volume (8.8K vs 18) and iOS requirement (10.2 vs 13.0). Burst+'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kartoon Channel! sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Burst+ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Kartoon Channel! against 4.9 for Burst+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kartoon Channel! has 8.8K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two.
