# SherMatch+ vs DearDoc

The clearest difference is rating: SherMatch+ at 4.7 against DearDoc's 3.3. SherMatch+ also leads on ratings volume (6.9K vs 12) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). DearDoc's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SherMatch+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. DearDoc asks for nothing beyond the download.

SherMatch+ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SherMatch+ has 6.9K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of SherMatch+'s written reviews are positive against 33% of DearDoc's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SherMatch+ ships an update every 2 months, DearDoc every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
