# iGPSPORT vs Specialized

The clearest difference is rating: Specialized at 4.7 against iGPSPORT's 2.8. Specialized also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 14%) and ratings volume (12K vs 114). iGPSPORT's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Specialized holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Specialized has 12K ratings behind it against 114, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 14% of iGPSPORT's written reviews are positive against 50% of Specialized's.

iGPSPORT ships an update every 5 weeks, Specialized fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
